The 4,000 race bibs on sale for the San Sebastian Rural Kutxa Half Marathon on 5 October have sold out in record time. Three months before the race, they have already sold out. 

October 5th will be the half marathon in Gipuzkoa with the highest participation ever. Never before has a 21.097-kilometre race had 4,000 participants. 

This year, as a novelty, there is the possibility of changing the bib holder until the 7th of September (the collection point can also be changed until the same day).

Thank you for registering for the San Sebastián Rural Kutxa Half Marathon, which will be held on October 5th. Never before has a half marathon in Gipuzkoa had 4,000 registered participants. You did it! Thank you! For several days now, race numbers for this flat, approved half marathon, included in the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation calendar, have sold out in record time. We want to offer you some useful information.

Race Number Pickup

You can pick up your race number at the location you indicated when registering (or you can change it until September 7th). You can check and/or change it here.

If you chose one of the stores (Décimas, Gipuzkoa, Anglet, or Bordeaux), your race number will be available during business hours from October 1st to October 4th. Under no circumstances will it be available in the Welcome area on race weekend if you don't pick it up there. If you chose the Welcome area, you can pick up your race number on Saturday, October 4th, from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM at San Sebastián City Hall. Race numbers cannot be collected on race day. Changes after September 7th will not be accepted at the collection point, as the bags will already be sent. If you requested that your race number be sent to your home, you will receive it throughout the month of September.

Registration Changes

We also remind you that change of ownership is allowed until September 7th. There is no cost. You can make changes to your registration here until the same day. We recommend following our official social media channels to stay up to date with everything related to the race.

After registrations for this year's 2025 San Sebastián Rural Kutxa Half Marathon (October 5) sold out in record time, we've decided to open registration for the 2026 edition. This way, you can plan your visit to San Sebastián ahead of time and have the option to register for a longer period of time.

The 2026 edition (October 4) will be the fifth edition of this captivating half marathon. Although there's still plenty of time left, this gives you more time to prepare for the race. The introductory price is 29 euros (only for the first 100 race numbers). Prices will increase as the quotas are filled.
